Editors get a clean visual editor. Developers get raw HTML when they need it. Nobody has to choose between speed and structure.
Visual editor and raw HTML mode
Write in a visual editor built on TipTap, or switch to raw HTML for a hand-built section. Both modes run the same structure checks.
Guard rails while you write
The editor allows one H1 per page, flags skipped heading levels and requires alt text on images. Purely decorative images can be marked as such, so screen readers skip them.
Pages, theme pages and a blog
Build free-form pages, edit the fields of your theme's designed pages, and run a blog with categories and tags.
Scheduled publishing and preview links
Set a post to go live on Monday at 9:00 and get on with your week. Send a preview link so a client can approve a page before it is public.
Page duplication
Duplicate a page that already works, such as a service page or a landing page, and change only what differs.
Media library
Organize images and files in folders, set alt text once, and move or delete in bulk. Every upload is converted to WebP and AVIF automatically.

The 20 points explained, with why each one matters
Indexing and crawling
Each site has its own sitemap.xml, updated on publish, unpublish and delete with an accurate lastmod. robots.txt is editable and starts from a safe default. Pages are indexable unless you switch on noindex, and every page carries a self-referencing canonical you can override.
Titles and descriptions
Set a title template once, such as "{page} | Your Brand", then write per-page titles and descriptions. Length meters show when you are over or under, and duplicate warnings catch copy-pasted metadata.
Structured data, generated for you
JSON-LD for Organization, WebSite, BreadcrumbList, Article, FAQPage, and SoftwareApplication with Offer on pricing pages. It is generated from your content, so it stays in sync when the content changes.
Redirects that write themselves
Rename a slug and OdysseyCMS writes the 301 for you. A redirect manager handles the rest, and a 404 log shows which missing URLs visitors and crawlers are hitting.
Internal links that do not rot
Insert links with a picker that searches your own pages and posts. Breadcrumbs and related content are built in. A scheduled link checker reports broken links before visitors find them.
Images that load fast
Uploads are converted to WebP and AVIF and served with responsive srcset, explicit width and height, and lazy loading. Layouts do not jump while images load.
Performance and mobile
Themes are built to Core Web Vitals targets: LCP under 2.5 seconds, INP under 200 milliseconds and CLS under 0.1. Layouts are designed to work down to 360px wide.
Sharing and discovery
Open Graph and Twitter cards with a default image and per-page overrides. A field for your Google Search Console verification code. An llms.txt file, generated automatically and editable when you want to say more.
SEO health panel
A score for every page against the 20 points. Each failing check says exactly what is wrong and links straight to the field that fixes it.

Email from your own account
Each site sends through its own SMTP server or Microsoft 365 account via Microsoft Graph. Notifications come from your domain, and one site's mail settings never touch another's.

One login for every site
Agencies and freelancers manage every client site from a single account. Clients only see the sites they are invited to.
Roles and permissions per site
Give a client's marketing lead editing rights on their site and nothing else. Roles are set per site, so the same person can be an admin on one site and an editor on another.
Domains and HTTPS handled
Every site starts on a free yoursite.kitesdev.com subdomain. Custom domains are verified with a DNS TXT record and get HTTPS certificates automatically, with HTTP-to-HTTPS redirects and HSTS.
A keyboard-first dashboard
Press ⌘K to jump to any page, post, form or setting. The dashboard also works on a phone, for the quick fix you need to make away from your desk.
Isolated data, daily backups
Each site's content, media and settings are kept separate from every other site. Data lives in PostgreSQL, with daily database backups.

Plans differ only by the size of the server. Pages, users and domains are not metered, and the product is the same on the smallest server.
